Sunset Porsche Track Day 2015

On July 15th, Sunset Porsche, with support from Porsche Cars North America (PCNA), held a track day at Portland International Raceway (PIR) for customers. Participants arrived bright and early at PIR where a complimentary breakfast was served while the registration process took place.

PCNA supplied a fleet of its best Porsche vehicles to be used on the track and a specially designed autocross course. Among the vehicles available to drive were a 911 Turbo, Targa, Cayman, Boxster GTS, Panamera, Cayenne, and Macan. Also on hand were a team of driving instructors from the Porsche Sport Driving School to lead drivers around the track for some speedy and exhilarating laps.

Customers also got the chance to put a Boxster GTS and Cayman through their paces on the autocross track. A driving instructor was present in each car to help drivers sharpen their skills through the tight twisting corners of the course.

After an exciting morning, lunch was served and gave attendees a chance to debrief and get ready for an equally exciting second session in the afternoon.

Porsche’s track experience is something not to be missed.

It’s not often you get a chance to drive these amazing automobiles the way they were built to be driven. The instructors do a wonderful job making sure that you truly push the Porsches to their limit.
